Volunteers are vital to the success of the Syracuse Children’s Chorus.
Throughout each season, over 130 choristers perform to audiences totaling over 2500 people. Concert volunteers include dozens of parent chaperones and front-of-house volunteers donating over 180 hours of their time to the SCC. Parent volunteers also assist with weekly rehearsals, monitoring attendance and dismissal of each chorister to ensure that the day-to-day operations of the chorus run smoothly and that the safety and well-being of each chorister is ensured.
The SCC also relies heavily on parent volunteers for camp, tours, fundraising events and retreats.
