Celebrate the talent and diversity of the fine choirs in our community as the Syracuse Children’s Chorus hosts our third annual A Fall Festival of Choirs. The Spirit of Syracuse Chorus, Orange Appeal and United Praise will share the stage with the Syracuse Children’s Chorus for an uplifting afternoon of song benefitting breast cancer research and education in Central New York. You won’t want o miss this exciting concert for a cause featuring over 400 voices singing Charles A. Tindley’s The Storm is Passing Over!
A portion of the proceeds from each ticket sold for this concert will benefit the CNY Affiliate of Susan G. Komen for the Cure.
The Nine Lessons and Carols

Experience the joy and wonder of the season with the Syracuse Children’s Chorus at the seventeenth presentation of the beloved The Nine Lessons and Carols, narrated by Dr. Patrick Jones, Director of the Setnor School of Music at Syracuse University. The angelic voices of the choristers will fill Most Holy Rosary Church from the traditional Once in Royal David’s City, to celebrated yuletide carols, to our traditional candlelight singing of Stille Nacht (Silent Night) dedicated in honor and in memory of those we hold dear. You’ll want to include this evening as part of your holiday tradition!
Celtic Traditions

With the Kinlough Academy of Irish Dance
Set sail on a musical voyage to Ireland, Scotland and Wales for Celtic Traditons, a concert invoking the spirit of time-honored culture and customs. The Syracuse Children’s Chorus will share the stage with the Kinlough Academy of Irish Dance from Oswego, NY and transport you to the Emerald Isle during a spectacular performance of Celtic music and dance that is perfect for young lads and lassies. You won’t want to miss this exciting journey across the pond!

Visions of Peace

Imagine the sound of young voices coming together for a common goal. At our season finale performance, the Syracuse Children’s Chorus will share the stage with local school children and collaborate with InterFaith Works of Central New York for Visions of Peace, a concert that will highlight the themes of friendship and community. Experience the all-encompassing power of music as we conclude our concert by bringing together choristers, alumni, family, and friends in the singing of the SCC favorite, My Own Song!
