In response to her recent appointment, Ms. Mowery has said, “I am thrilled to join the staff of the Syracuse Children’s Chorus. For nearly 20 years, I have known the Syracuse Children’s Chorus as a world class choral music education organization committed to offering amazing collaborative opportunities for young singers to experience the joy of singing. It is an honor and a privilege to now be able to build upon the legacy of artistic excellence and leadership in the children’s chorus community established by Founder and Director Emeritus, Dr. Barbara M. Tagg. I’m tremendously excited about making music with the children, working with the parents, staff and Board and developing new relationships within the Syracuse community.”
